What are you eating?

Today I such a big craving for mozzarella sticks and hash browns. I know I am getting ready to start my cycle soon. Well I went to Sonic and filled up on all of the above. I also went to get a pedicure and they did such a good job on the nails. Anyway...talked to the hubby today and he is ready to get back. He has no desire to work anymore and just wants to get on that plane. :(

After I picked Kayla up from school she wanted to play with stickers. Next thing I know it is all over my arm and her arm. I guess we've been sticker tattooed.

dance class

Kayla starts dance class on Wed. I am so excited. We already got her ballet shoes, leotard, tights, tu-tu and stuff. I feel like I am taking the class. I hope she has as much fun as I did when I was smaller.

so many things

Finally got the new camera up and running. I am VERY happy! The past few days have been just amazing. I feel new :)

The latest and greatest in this house is: Yo Gabba Gabba!

Kayla and her best buddy Jazzy have been living it up these past few days. Fun, fun, fun!

sleepover maddness

Jazzy and Kayla had a sleepover last night. They had SUCH a good time. Maybe we will do it again this weekend for more sleepover fun. Yay!

I also got the Twilight book that everyone keeps talking about. I hope it's as good as everyone says it is.

I decided to just get a NEW camera so it will be here by the end of the week. I can not wait!

Tonight I invited over JB and JW and their kids over for dinner. The girls had a good time playing pretend everything. Adults got to talk and we all had a good time. Gotta love the friend time. :)

where's my husband?

I have not heard from him in almost a week now and I am really beginning to worry. I usually hear from him everyday via email and phone. It is so unusual. I don't know what to think at this point. I just need to wait for him to contact me. I am trying to keep my mind off of it and do other things so I wont worry as much but I always find myself back at that point looking at my inbox and checking the caller id to see if I missed something. I am sad! And to top it off still no camera :(

Camera

My precious camera is BROKEN!!! I have been in pain these past couple days without it. I take pictures everyday. I guess I need to find a new hobby until I can get my camera repaired. :( I am so upset!

Rain day

We got some rain today and my finally poor car got the wash it deserved. (glad my hubby isn't here to see it like this)

First day of school!

Kayla had a great first day at school. She did so well and had no problem. Today was just the orientation part and tomorrow will start her on the work and what nots. I am so excited for her to be learning more. She's so smart (like mommy :) ) !




Braylen LOVED the dinner tonight. He had it all over his face and his clothing. He couldn't wait to get to his bowl. I guess that makes me a great cook. :)

New toy...

You know it! I went ahead and bought PSP, the slim one. It is so awesome! I've been playing almost all day today. This one game, LocoRoco (see picture below) is so addicting. Which is the reason why I have been playing all day. I hear the baby...GTG!

Spring cleaning!

We all stayed home during the day and decided to do some spring cleaning or summer cleaning what ever you want to call it. In the process, I decided to set out some summer colors on the table with the matching glasses. I love it!
On another note, I put my resume out for some company to look at. I should be hearing from someone soon I hope.
I am about to go and prep for cooking dinner. Tonight it is going to be baked chicken, carrots, and mashed potatoes. Yummy!! A total kid friendly meal. I guess since I made steak last night I figure I'd give them something they can eat tonight. :)

To work or not to work?

For the past couple of weeks I have been thinking hard about whether or not I want to return to to the intelligence community. I didn't like being an Intelligence Analyst all that much but I was damn good at it. I did it all from reports within our community to briefing the President during war time. Besides doing anything in the medical field, intel is what I know that I am good at. I asked my husband to ask around within his company for any job availability that does not deploy. I am not sure that there are many out there since everyone is looking for you to go overseas. *sigh* What do I do?
Of course I could take this medical transcription job that I would do at home. It pays very well HOWEVER, I am trying to get OUT of the house. I have been a SAHM since I was pregnant with Kayla. I absolutely love being home with my kids and I wouldndt trade my time with them for anything in the world; but, I need to mingle with adults regularly. My husband is very, very supportive and that makes me feel better about things but...I need a change.

Weekend fun!

It's the weekend baby!

We had a good weekend this time around. Lots of play time, crafts, painting, nap time....blah, blah, blah. The usual weekend routine. Today we decided to call up J and ask them to go to eat with us. We went to Applebee's and we all had a great time. We back to J's house and the girls played for hours while the adults chilled out for a few. I've known J for almsot a decade now and I am still amazed by him. He know how to do every fricken thing technology wise. I have some awesome friends. :)
