Splish, splash...We had a blast!!

We had such a wonderful day today. We went over to J's house and had lots of pool fun with the kids and adults. Despite the fact that I missed the lifetime movie that I waited to watch for the past 5-6 weeks, I had a FUN time. We watched Vantage Point and I absolutely loved it. I have been talking about it all night.

I even got to talk to T and see how she is doing. She went to Iraq in May and I miss her like crazy. :( My best friend! I am sure her little girl and hubby misses her too...way more than me ;).

I am SO sick of ebay seller that don't ship items out to you when you have spent your time and money on the item. Now I have waited 2 weeks for clothing from a person that lives maybe 3 hours from my house. How crazy is that!?!?!?!?! I have sent numerous messages and then I just decided to leave a neg feedback. Well guess what....the person decided to write me back with some lame ass excuse ONLY after I left the neg feedback. What is wrong with people?!

On another note, I got a call from my hubby today that has now informed me that he will not be coming home in Sept but will be sticking to the original Oct date. I was so looking forward to him coming home a month early. I already told everyone too. :( He said that they already booked his flight and they aren't able to change it. So instead of him having 5 weeks off he will only have 2 before he has to head on in the office.

This is becoming so hard for me. I have been pretty much raising our kids on my own for the past 3 years. He will only come home for a few weeks or so and then it is back overseas. I appreciate everything he is doing for our family (and the fact that we are banking like crazy!) but I miss him being here with me. I need major hugs!

Today was an awesome day for me. I had about 5 straight hours of sleep which is VERY rare for me. I got out of the house and had some mommy time with one of my friends. It is so good to have close friends that you can talk to and hang out with, without worrying about anything else. I love my friends!!! We went to the pool and play ground @ McDonald's and then to her house. Tossed back a couple too :)

Time passer...

I decided to start a blog to pass the time since my hubby is away. Today went really fast and I really didn't get anything I wanted accomplished. I did however get to go to the mall and I found the most cutest dress. I couldn't leave it on the rack. I can't wait to wear it. :)
