What can I say?

It has been a long time....so much has gone on between now and the last time I wrote. Shortly after my husband got back we all packed up and moved from our time town house to a house. YAY!!! I finally have my closet to myself (oh and the small section I let my husband have lol) .
I am so glad to have my own everything. No more rent and headache, thank God!
Today, on Cinco de Mayo, I got my tonsils and adenoids removed. OUCH! I have survived 2 c-sections but I can say that this is so much more horrible. I hate not being able to talk and I can barely breathe and I can't swallow to take the dang pain medicine. Ugh... Thank you for everyone's prayers and well wishes.
I guess I can use this surgery to lost about 5 pounds....LOL!
After I picked up Kayla from school today I was flipping through a magazine and I saw a little ad flyout and I said hey Kayla come draw a picture. She said no I am writing my name. I said ok. She actually wrote her name. I never thought she was serious. She shocked me and I am just SO happy that my 3 year old can write her own name. AWESOME!!!
I would ad some pictures but this medication has me a bit whoozy. Time for beddy bed bed.

First day of school

I finally took myself back to school to finish up my nursing degree. I am so excited! I had to leave Braylen at day care and he is not adjusting well. He wont eat and he cries on and off. That makes me sad but I am thinking by the end of next week he should be back to normal.
Things are pretty much calm around the house withthe kids and their adjustment to their daddy. Tonight I am going to leave them home and go out to eat with some friends. I hope all goes well and I dont get any calls on my cell phone. *crossing fingers*

Finally

Well my husband finally made it back to the US last night. Yay! It was bedtime for the kids when he got in. Kayla was sick so she fell asleep super early and Braylen was sick with a stomach ache so he was up crying for about an hour after his bedtime . I introduced Braylen to his dad for the second time and it didn't go so well at all. When he woke up this morning he was still a little unsure so we tried to make him comfortable. At the end of the day he actually let daddy hold him. I guess I can leave him at home with the kids while I go out now. Woo hoo!!!!

First time meeting

There is only about 8 days left until my husband comes home and I am so ready to see him. I know that Kayla will be very happy to see her daddy if it is only for the next 6 months. I don't think Braylen will amuse us by being happy. This is what happened when Whit met Braylen for the first time. He cried almost everytime he saw him. Just when he got accustom to him being home, we went to Las Vegas and then he went back to Iraq. Let's hope for a different outcome.

What a day for the park

Had another get together today. I made some slamming lasagna for dinner tonight and ice cream sundaes for the girls.

Miran called and asked me to come by for lunch today. After we ate we decided to have some shopping time and then pick up the girls from school together. We met at McDonalds after school and they had lots of fun playing with each other and the other kids already their.

Another weekend down

On Friday we had a visit with the kids Godparents and our good friends. I cooked up so much food that we were stuffed by the end of the night. The kids had lots of fun and I got a break for a little while.

Then after a Saturday sleepover I watched Jazzy all day because J had to work :(. We went to the park and had pizza, did water play outside, set up a tent, and lots of fun stuff. (Forgot my camera when we went to the park but it was too hot to stay for a long time anyway)

Dancing is fun!

I went up to Kayla's school to take pictures of her first day of ballet class and it was so cute. All the kids were adorable. Of course in the middle of the class I left because I was obviously a distraction as were the other parents who showed up to do the same as I did.

Braylen and I went to Publix to grab a few items and I thought he looked so cute in the car.
